Privacy Policy — ACSZ e-Judging App

Agricultural and Commercial Society of Zambia (ACSZ) ("we", "us", "our") operates the ACSZ e-Judging mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the App.

• Scores and ratings for exhibitors
• Comments during evaluations

• Device type and OS version
• Network connectivity status
• Locally cached data for offline use

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for the following purposes:

Account management

To create and maintain your judge account, authenticate your identity, and manage account approval

Judging functionality

To record, store, and submit your evaluation scores and comments for assigned exhibitor categories

Offline support

To cache data locally on your device so you can continue judging without an internet connection, and to sync evaluations when connectivity is restored

Communication

To facilitate password resets and account-related notifications

Data Storage and Security

All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing and are never stored in plain text

Evaluation data is stored on our secure servers hosted at ejudging.acsz.co.zm

Some data is cached locally on your device (using an encrypted local database) to support offline functionality. This cached data is cleared when you log out

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Your information may be accessible to:

ACSZ administrators who manage the judging process and review evaluation results
Other authorized personnel involved in organizing and running ACSZ exhibitions and shows

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities.

Data Retention

Your account information and evaluation data are retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping purposes related to ACSZ shows and exhibitions
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you

Correct inaccurate or incomplete information by contacting us

Delete your account and associated data through the App or by contacting us

Withdraw from the platform at any time by requesting account deletion

Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by:

Using the "Delete Account" option in the App's profile menu
Contacting us at the email address below

Upon deletion, your personal information and evaluation records will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
